Here’s a brief rundown of the modules that are included in the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy.

Module 1: Copywriting Fundamentals

Considering that this is the first module of this course, this one covers the barebones basics of copywriting, and what makes it different from other types of writing.

Basically, copywriting is drastically different from content writing. Because your goal in copywriting is to send a message to your readers to take action on something, whether it’s clicking a link, calling this number, buying this product, joining a cause, etc.

Thus, you’ll also learn some terms her that are commonly used in copywriting, such as what are CTAs (Call-To-Action), etc.

Module 2: Copywriting Tactics

Module 3: The Project Lifecycle

It is also known that Nicki Krawczyck loves print copywriting, probably even specializing in it. Thus, you can expect this module to be of higher quality than the rest.

Module 6: Building A Business

At this point, you should already have a good grasp of copywriting, including the various tactics and tricks of writing on different platforms.

So what’s next? It’s time for you that you market yourself to potential clients, and prove to them that you’re the right person for the job.

This module will cover your resume and portfolio creation, what to charge, how to look experienced even when you’re not, and everything else you need to start your online business.

How Much Does The Comprehensive Copywriting Academy Cost?

There are actually two versions of the CCA: A Free version and a Paid version.

The Free version only serves as a “preview” of sorts to the full online course, and thus, there’s nothing really much that you can get from it.

The Paid version, on the other hands, is the complete package. But costs a one-time payment of $597, or three separate installments of $217.

But there are instances wherein the price can drop to $$497 for individuals who go through the free training session called Landing Freelance Copywriting, and immediately sign up to the program once they’re finished.

There’s no refund policy present here. However, they do provide a so-called “30-Day Conditional Money-Back Guarantee” that’s based on the program’s sole discretion, meaning that even though you met their refund requirements, it’s still up to their discretion on whether you’ll get your money back or not.

To get the chance of a refund, you first need to meet these requirements:

  • Show proof that you’ve gone through the entire video training series and all modules.
  • Took action on the training
  • Pitched your services to at least 25 companies.

Again, even if you’ve met all of these requirements, there’s no guarantee that you’ll get your money back since it depends on the discretion of the program.

Conclusion: Is The Comprehensive Copywriting Academy A Must-Have?

The Comprehensive Copywriting Academy is a good (but not great) online for someone who wants to learn copywriting. It has plenty of training value and the mentor is a proven expert in the industry.

Nicki Krawczyk may not be the best copywriter around, but she’s one of the good ones out there.

Copywriting is also a great skill to learn if you want something that can earn you plenty of money. However, if you want your earnings to be consistent, you need to have a steady stream of clients to work with. No clients, no earnings.

This can prove to be quite a challenge, especially for a beginner, since there is a lot of well-established copywriters around as of late.

Plus, building a good portfolio to attract clients can take a lot of time. It’s not unusual for a copywriter to take years just to build a good portfolio that clients can find attractive. A newcomer may even take on unpaid projects just to build their portfolio.

Another drawback of having a copywriting career is that, technically, you’re still working for someone else (the client). Thus, it’s the client’s discretion whether or not they would still be willing to work with you after you finish one project with them. In worse cases, the client may even terminate your services if necessary.

Finally, and more importantly, copywriting won’t give you any opportunities for passive income due to the nature of the business.

Thus, I would suggest that you take copywriting as a business model only if you’re someone who simply loves to write, and not simply because it pays a lot. Because it’s not really that consistent in the long run.
